This may well be the best deal in the Blackcomb Benchlands at the current time.  $799k for a 3.5 bed, 2 bath, 1700 sq ft townhouse in this well-postioned complex.  That equates to $470/ sq ft and there is no HST to pay!  Granted, it is in original condition but that is fully factored in at this price.  The median selling price in the Benchlands has been c.$630/ sq ft thus far this year - $470 ...

The week ending October 24, 2010 saw 26 new listings, 10 sales and 22 price changes in the Whistler real estate market.  Of the 26 new listings, only 11 were completely new to the market in 2010, the other 15 were relistings of properties. On the sales side, there were three sales of $1m+ homes, including a Snowy Creek townhome for $2m and a Brio chalet for $1.915m.

The week ending October 10, 2010 saw 36 new listings, 3 sales and 21 price changes in the Whistler real estate market.  Of the 36 new listings, only 12 were completely new to the market in 2010, the other 24 were relistings of properties.  The lower activity levels were not entirely surprising given that it was Thanksgiving Weekend.
